Mountain Tree Scapes has been a terrific partner in maintaining forest health, fire mitigation,
and clearing and chipping deadfall. Because their work is so excellent, I have contracted their
services every season for the past ten years. As such I have been a keen observer of their
work ethic, their integrity, their safety practices, and their technical skill level. They deserve
the highest praise for the aforementioned. They maintain a tidy work side, they pay careful
attention to the maintenance of their equipment, and they exhibit great safety awareness.
Mountain Tree Scapes has had a positive continuity in their work force which speaks to the
esprit de corps and team environment that Scott creates in his crew. Watching them work is
like watching a well-choreographed performance. Unlike some service providers they tend to
exceed performance expectations in terms of their delivery.
As a forestry major from Purdue, Scott has the knowledge to be a great partner who is able to
make suggestions or improve the client’s vision with the ultimate end in mind. And finally, (and
this is no small thing) Mountain Tree Scapes appear to me to love the challenges inherent in

He has a deep knowledge of proper forest management and is very good about walking a property with the owner and developing a plan of what should and should not be done for the health of the forest. His team is very professional and executes Scott’s plan with great skill and safety as a top priority. They keep the job site organized and clean up at the end of each day to minimize the environmental impact. I would highly recommend them.
